I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Kansas. I am under supervision with a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist also in the State of Kansas.
I graduated from Wichita State University in 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. I then attended Friends University and earned a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2012.
I was born an Army Brat and I am a native of Wichita, Kansas. I spent much of my childhood in Hawaii, Kansas, and Texas but Wichita was always home.
I have worked in the social services field since 2006, where I started working with adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. From there, I went on to work with children, providing support in the community.
In 2012 I began working with children and Families in the state of Missouri and remained there for the last 10 years. For the past two years, I have led the company’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts.
I realized that it was time to come back home.
I have a passion to work with others to achieve healing and growth in ways that make sense for them as individuals. It is a process, it’s hard, and it’s the greatest gift you can give yourself.
Soul Growth Counseling believes that we should all be empowered to tell our own stories, to advocate for ourselves, to have the support and connections we want and need, and that your growth and healing is your responsibility.
